Hello Vanilla ! How are you ?
I made your avatar using a program called the GIMP (I use it since I don't feel
the need to buy an expensive program like Photoshop or PaintShopPro) You can
make animated gifs if you have one of these 3 progs.
The GIMP is great for simple tasks like that (but if you have Photoshop or
PaintShopPro it's better). It's a free open source graphics editing program. I
used it to make my userpage, my walls, etc... (pls have a look by clicking on my
avatar !)
You can try it by downloading it here (you must
install the GTK first and then the GIMP and you can also install the help file).
There are basic tutorials here.
If you have problems you can ask me whenever you want. Good luck !

look at the gallery and I think Mint would look great with this background ! But

Oops I just realised that most of the submissions aren't fanarts or drawings
made by Minitokyo users but are wallpapers made from scans...

buggy but I don't know how to correct this (background images are put together
in a strange way...) There's also a bug with the grid to the left : it's not as
